The holiday home Casa è (se vi pare) is located at Via Marsala 11, Siracusa, in a convenient and central location, perfect for exploring the city either on foot or by public transport.
The 70-square-metre house can accommodate up to a maximum of four people and consists of a large living area with a well-equipped kitchen; a relaxation corner with a single sofa bed (195 x 87 x 83 cm), a TV cabinet, bookshelves with books and various vinyls to play; and a large balcony where it is also possible to eat.
The sleeping area consists of a hallway with wardrobes, the bathroom with washing machine and the double bedroom.
A private indoor garage is also available to guests, located just 500 meters from the property, easily accessible and ideal for those traveling by car or moto.
The daily price ranges from 80 to 130 Euro per night, depending on the period and number of guests.
The reception of guests and the handing over of the keys are handled in person, to ensure a cared-for experience from the very first moment.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house, so you can always stay connected during your stay.
If you arrive by car
The private indoor garage is located at Via Tevere 32, just 500 meters from the property. Alternatively, parking on the surrounding streets is always free.
The island of Ortigia is only 1km from the house but… it is a ZTL (limited traffic zone)! The island is closed to cars from Monday to Friday and on public holidays, from 20:00 to 02:00 the following day. On Saturdays, from 17:00 to 02:00 the following day. On Sundays and public holidays, from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day.
If you arrive by train or bus
Siracusa railway station
The Siracusa railway station is only 500 metres away (about a 5-minute walk). Ideal for those arriving by train or wishing to visit nearby locations.
Bus stop to and from Catania Fontanarossa Airport
The direct bus to Catania airport leaves near the railway station (Corso Umberto), about 500 metres (5 minutes’ walk) from the house.
The bus from the airport arrives in Corso Gelone (in front of OVS and Profumeria Douglas), about 250 metres (3 minutes’ walk) from the house.
Distance to main attractions
Cathedral of Ortigia
Located in the heart of the island of Ortigia, the Duomo can be reached in about 15-20 minutes on foot (1.3 km), crossing the characteristic Umbertino Bridge.
Greek Theatre of Siracusa
The Greek Theatre about 1.2 km (15-20 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by car), set in the Neapolis Archaeological Park. For the calendar of Classical Performances consult the Inda website.
Borgata District and the New Santa Lucia Waterfront
The house is just a few steps from the new Santa Lucia Sbarcadero, in the heart of the lively Borgata district, an authentic and vibrant neighborhood, perfect for experiencing Syracuse like a local.
